Our teams of Welfare Advisers and Wellbeing Co-ordinators can provide face-to-face advice and support at a range of locations across the city. We want our service to be local to you, so you can choose to have an appointment at one of 25 GP practices across Hull, as well as the Freedom Centre on Preston Road and the Wilson Centre on Alfred Gelder Street.
If you don’t mind where you see someone and would like an appointment as soon as possible, you will be offered this option as well.
As long as you are 16 or over, and resident in Hull or have a GP in Hull, you can make an appointment. You don’t have to have an appointment in your own GP practice, you can go to whichever practice has appointments to suit you. It doesn’t even matter if you are not registered with a GP – you can still get help.
In some cases, it may be possible to arrange an appointment at home or another setting. We can also provide advice and support over the telephone. If you would like to discuss this, call our friendly Central Hub staff on 01482 217670 or email email@example.com.
The Hub opening hours are 0800-1830 hours Monday to Friday and 0900-12.00 hours on Saturday.
If you need to see a Welfare Adviser you will be able to choose from a 30-minute appointment, a 60-minute appointment or a 90-minute appointment. Our online appointment booking process (coming soon) will help you choose the right one for you, or you can speak to our team on 01482 217670.
If you need to see a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will have a 60-minute appointment – don’t worry if this seems too long, you don’t have to use the full hour. Likewise, if you still need further help or a follow-up appointment we can arrange this.
